Mr and Mrs Kubik wanted a modern but warm and inviting kitchen in their new extension and approached Princess Design having been recommended by a friend.
By using porcelain wood effect tiles in a random pattern on the wall the tall units could appear floating and contrast beautifully against the platinum blue glass floating sink run.
Mrs Kubik wanted “something different” on the seating area as opposed to the normal breakfast bar areas she had seen. Richard created a L Shape breakfast bar area at the end of the island that could accommodate six people so now the kitchen is where everyone gathers , whether it be for morning breakfast or for a drink in the evening.
Using ceramic nero doors and contrasting floor and wall materials the kitchen has both an industrial feel and a modern look whilst still maintaining a warmth and inviting element.
